Organic dutch cocoa powder is made from organic cacao beans, alkalized (also known as Dutch-process) to reduce their acidity and bitterness and then roasted and grounded into organic cocoa powder. Organic dutch cocoa powder has a noticeably darker colour and a smoother, more mellow chocolate flavour.
